North Shore Republican Women Monthly Meeting

Time: Registration and fellowship will begin at 10:45 AM, followed by a brief business meeting, lunch and a program
beginning at 11:15 AM.

This month’s meeting will feature a presentation by Montgomery County Sheriff Tommy Gage & Sergeant Wende
Wakeman of the Texas Rangers entitled “A Winning Team Protecting Montgomery County.” Reservations are requested

First Thursday FREE Concerts By the City of Conroe

First Thursday Free Concerts Presents the Main Act – The Gourds and Opening Act is James Hyland. Bring your lawn
chairs and blankets. No coolers allowed in the park!!! Art In The Park artists will exhibit their work - weather permitting.

Historic Montgomery First Saturday & Farmers Market
When: September 4, 2010
Where: Downtown Montgomery, FM 149 and College Street
Time: Restaurants open at 7:00 a.m.; Farmer’s Market 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Shops 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Historic Montgomery Wine and Food Trail
When: Saturday, September 25, 2010
Where: Downtown Montgomery
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

This wonderful wine and food event will feature all Texas wine and all Texas foods, along with a host of upscale artisan vendors from this great state! Attendees will sample wine, seasonal and micro-brewed beers and lots of great food all day. There will be wine and beer pairing demonstrations performed by local renowned chefs along with dazzling ice sculpture demonstrations. Of course, there will be great Texas music performed throughout the day with Kevin Black (and son Coleton Black), The Zach Tate Band, P.J. Price, and The Jazz Band. The kids will also enjoy many great activities such as fun jumps, a grape stomp, face paintings, and even a fire truck throughout the day! The proceeds of this event will benefit local charities and the revitalization of downtown Montgomery. Twenty-Second Annual Helping Hands Golf Tournament
When: October 3, 2010
Where: April Sound Country Club
Time: 1:00 p.m. - ?

Golfers are invited to play in the Twenty- Second Annual Helping Hands Golf Tournament, sponsored by April Sound
Church, on Sunday, October 3 at April Sound Country Club. Shotgun starts at 1 p.m. Dinner and awards follow in the
Lakeside Room of the club. Cost $75 with dinner included. All proceeds benefit families in crisis and there is no administrative
